Body & Blood sits at the crossroads where Deathcore, Metalcore, and Progressive Death Metal intersect. Their use of  progressive and technical arrangements, instrumental voicing, and dynamic mood changes - while delivering all the staples - provides a glimpse of modern metal through an exciting new lens. Drawing influence from early deathcore, metalcore, melodeath, and progressive metal, Body & Blood aim to deliver music that refuses to stay still.   

In November 2019, armed with a dozen compositions, guitarist Mariel Miele set out to record an album and recruited musicians to help finalize the tracks. As they worked through the songs their enthusiasm grew, what started as an album collab had turned into a full time project, and by 2022 Body & Blood was born. After the release of their first single and a handful of shows, Body & Blood took a break to record while completing the lineup. In that time they released another single and their debut EP 'A Natural Death'. 2025 saw the completed lineup and a handful of explosive shows. Body & Blood is currently working on a release for 2026.
