Body & Blood is a Progressive, Semi- Technical Death Metal band from Queens, NY. Drawing influence from early deathcore, metalcore, melodeath, and progressive metal, Body & Blood bring a refreshing take on modern death metal.   

Body & Blood started in November 2019 with Mariel Miele (The Great Annihilator, Eyes Like Cyanide) on guitar and Christian Maldonado (Human Calligraphy, Saniterum) on drums, eventually recruiting Philippe Delagge (Lies Beneath, IKILLYA) on bass and Alex Valdez (Sickbay, Torturous Inception) on vocals. After releasing their first single Act of Darkness, and playing a handful of shows in 2022, Body & Blood headed back into the studio.  In July 2023 they released Indoor Sports via Slam Worldwide, and in 2024 Indoor Sports was featured on Cave Dweller Musics compilation Mind Over Metal 4: Vol. 2.  In June 2024 their debut ep A Natural Death was released. In 2025 Body & Blood were featured on the HMHD podcast as well as The Rythym Bois podcast. Body & Blood are currently working on recording a new ep.
